Session content

Best Practice is used by clinicians all over the world, as it provides instant, reliable information about conditions without the need for checking multiple resources. It is a single source of evidence based medicine, which combines the latest research evidence, guidelines and expert opinion – providing essential learning on prevention, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis.

The session will provide you with all the information you need to:

  • Register
  • Search Conditions
  • Understand Types of Monographs from a learning and research point of view
  • Diagnosis and treatment
  • Evidence and Evidence Scores
  • Personalisation features
  • Drug and reference links
  • Remote/Mobile access

BMJ Learning is the leading international online learning resource for medical professionals. It contains over 900 evidence-based modules which are written by experts and cover a range of clinical and non-clinical topics.

We will provide you with information on:

  • Registration and logging on
  • Different types of modules available
  • How to search, select and complete modules
  • How to manage your learning with BMJ Portfolio

If you would like further information about this event, or about accessing these resources please contact: Karen John-Pierre, kjohn@sgul.ac.uk  or telephone 0208 725 5433.
