BMJ Best Practice replaces BMJ Clinical Evidence for University staff and students

The University now subscribes to BMJ Best Practice. This resource combines the latest research evidence, guidelines and expert opinion – presented in a step-by-step approach, covering prevention, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis, and incorporates BMJ Clinical Evidence.  Off-site access requires a University username / password. Access to Clinical Evidence via this site http://clinicalevidence.bmj.com/ is no longer available for University staff and students.

Please note that for NHS staff, Clinical Evidence is still available, and requires an NHS Athens account. Best Practice is available as a trial until 31 December 2010, and again requires an NHS Athens account.

NHS users will still be able to access Best Practice after the Athens trial ends in December, if logged into a library computer.
