A Pivot Table is a way to extract data from a long list of information and present it in a readable form. Pivot tables can be used to summarise, analyse, explore and present your data.

- Selecting elements of a Pivot Table
Requirement: good knowledge of Excel fundamentals.

Word – For Dissertations & Module Assignments (Competent user)
Wednesday 4 November at 1pm – 2.30pm
Library Training Room.
Word has features, which can be used to enhance the presentation of projects/modules or dissertations by using some of Word’s more advanced features. This will save time and take the headache out of structuring documents.
This session covers such areas as:
- Using Page & Section Breaks effectively
- Add different Page Numbers and Headers & Footers
- Create & apply built-in Styles
- Add and label Tables & Images
- Generate an automatic Table of Contents, Table of Figures and Table of Tables
- Inserting a Cover Page
