We’re pleased to announce that the Library will remain open 24/7
over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend!
Please be aware will be operating self-service only during these times and
make sure you bring a valid ID card to access the Library.
Library staff will be unavailable from:
6pm on Thursday 29th March
8am on Tuesday 3rd April.
The Library will be closing for the Christmas break at 5pm on Friday 22 December and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday 2 January.
The Computer Rooms next to the Library will be open 24/7 during this period but access to the building will require a valid ID card.

1 – When we are open
The Library is open:
Monday – Friday 8am – 11pm
Saturday – Sunday 9am – 9pm
The Library is self-service only after 6pm Monday to Friday, and throughout the weekends. If there are any changes to opening or staffed times, such as on public holidays, a notice will be put on the Library Blog.
Self service facilities at the Library include:
- access to study spaces and Computer Rooms
- printing and photocopying
- borrowing and returning books
- viewing your library account and paying fines
The Computer Rooms can be accessed 24 hours a day throughout the year for those times when you are burning the midnight oil…
The Library will be open Monday 29th August 9am to 9pm.
