Thomson Reuters will be updating Web of Science, primarily to integrate ORCID data into their platform on Sunday 26 July.
They do not expect to have any outages or downtime during the release. But due to other scheduled maintenance work, there may be intermittent access during that time.
Thomson Reuters apologise for any inconvenience due as a result.
The issue with the offsite link access to Web of Science has now been resolved.
The Web of Science offsite link for student and staff is currently broken, but users can still access Web of Science via www.webofknowledge.com
Choose UK Federation on the first page (see screenshot) and then search for St George’s to get to the Shibboleth log in page.
There will be scheduled maintenance to Web of Science on Sunday 14th June between 1pm BST and 4pm BST. Please be advised that Web of Science may be unavailable during and around this time.

Please be advised that they expect minimal interruption to the service for users who are logged into Web of Science(tm) , InCites(tm), ResearcherID, or EndNote(r) Online. Thomson Reuters apologise for any inconvenience due as a result.
Please be advised that Web of Science will undergo scheduled maintenance on Saturday 13 December 2014, to release new search functionality in the WoS version 5.16 release. During this time, access may be intermittent. Thomson Reuters apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
The Web of Science version 5.15 upgrade is being released on Sunday, October 19.
The Upgrade/Maintenance will be managed between
Sunday 19 Oct 2pm GMT – Monday 19 Oct 2am GMT.
There is no disruption to access expected however there may be intermittent issues during the maintenance period. Thomson Reuters apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
There are no upgrades to EndNote (Online) or Researcher ID at this time and access to these resources is not affected, links from these products to Web of Science records may be subject to a slight disruption.
